WPC announces 2026 NCL 18U Western Finals champions and award winners

Ottawa, April 24, 2026 — Water Polo Canada is pleased to announce the champions and individual award winners of the 2026 National Championship League (NCL) 18U Western Finals, held April 17–19 in Calgary, AB. 

After three days of competition, the Pacific Storm captured the 18U Men’s title, while the Calgary Renegades Black were crowned 18U Women’s champions. 

The 18U Western Finals brought together the top clubs from the Western conference, qualified through regular season play.

The 18U Western Finals are part of Water Polo Canada’s National Championship League (NCL), which was created in 2014 to bring domestic club age-group programs under a country-wide umbrella that promotes the development of the sport. The NCL offers three categories of play: Senior, 18U, and 16U.
