(March 2, 2021 - Ottawa, ON) - Water Polo Canada (WPC) received a record number of 56 applications for the 2020-2021 Club Assistance Program (CAP). This year, WPC sought to support as many CAP projects as possible in order to ensure that our Canadian water polo programming remained active and engaging while addressing the challenges experienced by COVID-19. In order to maximize the benefits of this program, WPC included an additional category called Modified Water Polo Initiatives, adjusted the list of eligible expenses and increased the amount of available funding.
Following an extensive review process, WPC provided funding to 47 projects across the six (6) project categories –

’
s CAP and congratulations to those projects that received funding.
WPC would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge our clubs and PSOs for their hard work and perseverance in continuing to maintain and provide water polo programming during this difficult time.
