The 2025 Canadian Water Polo Hall of Fame (CWPHOF) induction ceremony will hosted in Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday, May 10, 2025. The event will take place at Hyatt Place Ottawa West (300 Moodie Dr, Ottawa, ON K2H 9G1) where hors d'oeuvres  will be included in the ticket price ($85 - Standing Room only) and drinks will be available for purchase onsite.

ALUMNI GAME

The annual Alumni game will take place on Saturday May 10th at 3pm (ET) at the Centre sportif de Gatineau in Gatineau, QC.  All water participants are required to register by contacting Ross MacDonald via email at RossMacdonald@royallepage.ca. The registration deadline is May 8, 2025.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS - Room Block Deadline: April 10, 2025 

For CWPHOF Induction Ceremony attendees requiring accommodations, the CWPHOF committee has negotiated a discounted rate with the Hyatt Place Ottawa West (300 Moodie Dr, Ottawa, ON K2H 9G1). To redeem this discount, please use the following link and provide the following group booking code G-POLO before April 10, 2025. You will need a valid credit card to make the reservation.  

Check in time is 3:00pm

Check out time is 12:00pm  

If you can’t book online, guests can make a reservation by calling 613-702-9800 and provide the dates of your reservation and the following group booking code G-POLO.   

Important Notes:

• The group code will only work for reservations within the group block dates (May 9 & 10, 2025). If anyone wishes to arrive early, or stay later, they should make a reservation within the group block dates and then contact the hotel directly to modify their arrival or departure date. The option to arrive early or stay later is not guaranteed.

• Please be sure to make your reservations by the cut-off date of April 10. The system will automatically release all the rooms that have not been reserved at that time. After that, we cannot guarantee that rooms, or rate, will be available.

•  Guests will be responsible for all charges associated with their room reservation. At the time of reservation, a valid credit card will be required to confirm the reservation.

•  Please note that there is a 24 hour cancellation policy for all reservations made under this group block. Any reservations that are cancelled within 24 hours of the arrival date will be charged a fee equal to one night’s stay.
