(CAMO), the centre defender went to the United States to study bioengineering at Stanford University, as well as represented the institution within the NCAA. During her three years of competition in the American circuit, she was a member of the team that won two championships, notably the last one in front of her friends and family, which remains one her best memories thus far of her water polo career. Floranne, who attended no less than 11 different schools during her academic career, has always remained grounded thanks to her athletic ambitions. According to her, the physical and competitive aspects of the sport, as well as the opportunities that the sport provides her, are captivating and unusual aspects. She would like to pursue a career in biotechnology following her career in water.

Après avoir joué au sein du Club Aquatique Waterpolo Montréal inc. (CAMO), celle occupant la position de centre-arrière est partie aux États-Unis pour étudier en bio-ingénierie à l'université Stanford, tout en représentant cette institution au sein de la NCAA. Au cours de ses trois années de compétition dans le circuit américain, elle a fait partie de la formation qui a remporté deux championnats, notamment le dernier devant ses amis et sa famille, ce qui demeure un de ses meilleurs souvenirs jusqu'ici en carrière en water-polo. Floranne, qui a fréquenté pas moins de 11 écoles différentes pendant son parcours académique a toujours su rester ancrée grâce à ses ambitions athlétiques. Selon elle, les côtés physique et compétitif du sport, ainsi que les opportunités qui en suivent, sont des aspects captivants et hors du commun. Elle aimerait poursuivre une carrière en biotechnologie à la suite de celle dans l'eau.
