Age Group National Team
The Age Group National Team (AGNT) encompasses Youth (18U & Even Birthyear) aged and Junior (20U & Odd Birthyear) aged athletes that compete for Canada in age specific Pan American Championships and World Championships. These athletes are selected and monitored across the country through RDC programs in line with our athlete pathway.
Youth and Junior both programs follow a two year cycle in which team selections are made for both individual years. Year one’s culminating event is a Pan American Championship which acts as a qualifier for year two’s culminating event of a World Championship. Teams would be centralized prior to the events with various joint training opportunities abroad.
